"to make up the Sum of Three Hundred Pounds do and Your Petitioner is ready
"to make Oath that the said Book contains a Rue and just Account of all the
"fees and pergleisites received by him from the time of his appointment to the
"20m. of February last within the Sum of Five Pounds

"Your Petitioner therefore Humbly Prays that Your
"Worships would be pleased to Grant him an Order
"on Your worships Treasurer for the payments of the said
"Sum of One hundred and thirty one pounds fifteen
"shillings and seven pence and Your Petitioner will
"ever pray Etc

A Motion was made that a Committee be appointed to
take into Consideration the said petition and the Accounts to which the
said petition refers to Examine and Report whether there have been
any and what Extraordinary Expenditures made by Mr Harwood on
Account of the Government of the said prison whether any and what
deductions have been made by Orders of Court or otherwise in the profits of
the said Office since Mr. Harwoods appointment, to the same and how
much the Nett Annual Receipts of the said office fall short of £300.
and the same being agreed to Resolved that

Nine of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for this County or any
Three of them be such Committee and that the said Committee do meet for
the first time at this place on Friday the 4th. day of June next at the hour
of Ten in the forenoon and then do adjourn to and meet at such
times and places as they shall think proper.
