A Motion was now made that the said Report and
the plans thereunto annexed be deposited in the Office of the Clerk of
the peace for the perusal and Inspection of the Majesty's Justices of the
peace for this County and that the same be taken into Consideration on the
County day of the now next Session of the peace to be holden for this County
and that immediate notice thereof be given to His Majesty's Justices of
the peace acting in and for this county by Letter as also by advertisement.

A Petition from Mr John Harwood< no role > Governor of the House of
Correction at Clerkenwell being presented to this Court and read of which
the following is a Copy

"To the Worshipful William Mainwaring< no role > Esquire and the rest of His
"Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex in their General
"Quarter Session assembled.

"The Humble Petition of John Harwood< no role >

"Humbly Sheweth


"That Your Worships Petitioner was appointed Keeper
"of Clerkewell Bridewell on the County day of February Session 1783 and was
"then informed by the Chairman of that Honourable Court that if the fees
"and persquisites belonging to that employment did not amount to the Sum
"of Three Hundred pounds P Annum the deficiency should be made up to
"him

"That Your Worships Petitioner hath herewith delivered in
"the Book of his Accounts wherein it will appear that he hath received the
"Sum of Three Hundred and Eighty two Pounds Thirteen shillings and
"Three pence and that he hath expended the Sum of Two Hundred and
"fourteen pounds eight shillings and ten pence Whereby there is a deficiency
"of One hundred and thirty one pounds fifteen shillings and seven pence
