"Prisons


"Divided into four Distinct parts the two to the right intended
"principally for Females and the two to the left for Males; and are to contair
"the following Classes and number of Prisoners

"No. 1 For Males of the 1st: Class Vizt. Felons and other attrocious
"Offenders convicted: and in the Appear Storys such of the second
"Class as shall be convicted of Cesser Offences in or out of Session}

"Four on each side of the Court Yard 30 Feet by 21 Feet detached from
"each Prison and communicating therewith by Open Passages with the
"Turnkeys Lodges at the Entrances thereof. Two of the said Rooms to be
"applied to each Prison and to be unconnected with each other. These
"may again be subdivided.

"Have each Working Room Loses for Drying Etc An Open Light over
"each Working Room serving at the same time as Ventilators and to give
"light to the Loses Basements Etc

"Cranes for raising Goods to be fixed next to the Court Yard

"Three Courts for
"Males}


"Placed North and South of No. 1 & 3 those South to have
Columnades on the Sides, and an Arcade under the Infirmary in
"order to carry on any Works under Cover and exposed to the Air with
"different Ways into each Court Yard.
