Case

To support the Grace [..] Respondents olledge that the sd Susanna is the Wife of
[..] Wm. Darker [..] likely to [..] Chargeableable to them & she to removed by such Grace to Edmonton
Parish as the Settlement of her Susanna

The pack that the above [..] Wm Packer< no role > a An illuminate [..] being 20 Years Age the 17th day
[..] that his Mothers Sarah Simmon< no role > that She did on the 3d day of July after the
[..] the saint three and that [..] Minor was beget by a Wm Clarker< no role > who is now [..] and have Sworn
[..] to be the Natural and lawful Father of the said Minor.

Mrs Mary Simms< no role > the Mother of the said Sarah [..] new living and in the Seventy first
[..] of her Age she was Wife of Wm Simms< no role > late of Edmonton Taylor and she had Space of such Marr.
[..] Children (that the above named Sarah Simms< no role > was born in the Month of October 1744 that her Husband
the said Wm Summs being Acquainted and working for the Family of [..] Peter Parker< no role > a Farour and Carpenter
[..] enter the above named Wm Parder the Son of the said Peter Parker< no role > became intimate with her said
[..] the said Simms and under pretence of Marrying her [..] Advantage of such promises
and she became pregrant [..] of the [..] near the time of her delivery he took her to London (which was in
the Month of July 1763 with Instant to Mary her as he preteiaca but never performed such promise alledging
when the could get Money to buy necessary things the would Mary her and not before for he could not bear the
thoughts of living when Married in a ready Furnished Lodging that he took Apartments for her in a Street called
Keate Street near Spita [..] Marker where she continued about about five Weeks and she was there delivered of a Male
Child thesaid MinorPainter who was been on the 17th of Augt. 1763 and Christina when 5 days Old as appears
entered in the Register of Bap [..] of Christ Church Middx on the 21st. day of Augt. 1763 in the Name of
Wm Parker< no role > Son of William Sarah of Treate Street Carpenter five days Old That the Parker informed two (Mary Simms< no role > )
that he had not only called his Boy after his own Name but he had at such time altered the name of her
Daughter by having her Registered as his Wife-That she Mary simms< no role > was present at such Birth and continued
there Nursing her [..] for three Weeks and at the Expiration of such time she took her with her Home to
her own Dwelling at Edmonton that Darker who continued to Work in London used to come down to
Edmonton about once a Week to see [..] Daughter and the Minor but only triffled with her in the
manner above mentn. respecting her Intermarriage with her until her Daughter being worn out with Grief in reflecting
on her dreadful situation she died of a Consamption on the third day of July following the Birth of the
Minor a single Woman
