Mrs Mary Simms< no role > the Mother of the said Sarah Simms< no role > is new living and in the Seventy first
[..] of her Age she was the Wife of Wm Simms< no role > late of Edmonton Taylor and she had Hone of such Marr.
eight Children (that the above named Sarah Simms< no role > was born in the Month of October 1744) that her Husband
the said) Wm. Summs being Acquainted and weeking for the Family of Mr. Peter Packer< no role > a Farmer and Carpenter

[..] and the said Sarah Summs and under pretence of Marrying her took the Advantage of such promised
and she became pregnant [..] of the [..] Wm [..] the time of her delivery he took her to London (which was in
the Month of July 1763 with Intent to Mary her as he pretenacd but never performed such Promise alleaging
when the could get Money to by necessary things he would Mary her ana not before for he could not bear the
thoughts of living when Married in a ready Furnished Lodging that he took Apartments for her in a Street called
Treate Street near Spita [..] lacker where she continued about give Weeks and she was there delivered of a Male
Child thesaid Minor [..] who was born on the 17th of Augt. 1763 and Christina when 5 days Old as appears
entered in the Register of Baptism's of Christ Church Maidx on the 21s day of Augt. 1763 in the Name of
Wm Parker Son of William Sarah of Treate Street Carpenter five days Old That he Parker informed her (Mary Simms< no role > )
that he had not only called his Boy after his own Name but he had at Such time altered the name of her
Daughter by having her Registered as his WifeThat she was (Mary Simms< no role > ) present at such Birth and continued
[..] Nursing [..] for three Wicks and at the Expiration of such time she took her with her Home to
her own Dwelling at Edmonton that Parker who continued to Work in London used to come down to
Edmonton about once a Week to see her Daughter and the Minor but only triffled with her in the
manner above menta respecting her intermarriage with her until her Daughter being worn out with Grief in reflecting
on her dreadful Situation she died of a Consumption on the third day of July following the Birth of the
Minor a single Woman

That after the Death of her Daur Mr. Simms her Husband continued to provide for the said
Minor and the said Wm Parker allowed 1s. and 6d or Week for one Year and a quarter or there abouts
towards the Support of the said Minor during which Street period Parker Intermarried and from such
time with held his further Assistance and never afterwds. took any Notice of sd. Minor or expanded or
sent any sum whatever towards his support That after the deceased of her (Mary Simms< no role > ) Husband wch as as
