To the Overseers of the Poor of the Liberty of Saffron-Hill ,
Hatton-Garden and Ely-Rents, in the Parish of St. Andrew,
Holborn , in the said County, and to the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Mary
at Lambeth in the County of Surry

WHEREAS Complaint has been made by you the Overseers
of the Poor of the said Liberty of Saffron-Hill , Hatton-Garden ,
and Ely-Rents, unto us whose Hands and Seals are hereunto set, two
of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace (whereof one is of the Quorum)
in and for the said County of Middlesex , That William Taber< no role > and
Hannah< no role > his Wife and their three Children namely John< no role > aged
Nine years or thereabouts Sarah< no role > Aged five years or thereabouts
and Thomas< no role > Aged Sixteen Months or thereabouts
lately intruded themselves into your said Liberty of Saffron-Hill ,
Hatton-Garden , and Ely-Rents, there to inhabit as Parishioners con-
trary to the Laws relating to the Settlement of the Poor, and are there
become Chargeable,if not timely propen [..] AND
WHEREAS, upon due Examination and Enquiry made into the Pre-
mises, and Oath and other Circumstances it appears to us, and we ac-
cordingly adjudge, That the said William Taber and Hannah
his Wife and their said three Children

are become Chargeable unto the said Liberty of Saffron-Hill , Hat-
son-Garden, and Ely-Rents, and that the last legal Place of Settlement
of the said William Taber and Hannah his Wife and
their said three Children is in the said Parish
of saint Mary at Lambeth aforesaid
THESE are therefore in His Majesty's Name, to order and require you
the said Overseers of the Poor of the Liberty of Saffon-Hill, Hatton-
Garden , and Ely-Rents aforesaid, that you or some of you, do forth-
with remove and convey the said William Taber and Hannah
his Wife and their said three Children
from your said Liberty of Saffron-Hill, Hatton-Garden, and Ely-Rents,
to the said Parish of Saint Mary at Lambeth aforesaid
and them deliver to the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor there, or some or one of them, together with
this our Warrant or Order, or a true Copy thereof; whereby they are
likewise required in His Majesty's Name, and by Virtue of the Sta-
tutes in such Case made, forthwith to receive the said William
Taber and Hannah his Wife and their said three
Children
into their said parish Care and provide for them
as their own Parishioners GIVEN under our Hands and Seals the
Twenty Seventh Day of April in the Year of
our Lord, One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy Nine
