WHEREAS Complaint has been made unto [..]
his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the County of
Middlesex (one whereof being of the Quorum), by the
Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Saint Giles in the Fields in the said County,
That James Major< no role > is
lately came into the said Parish, endeavouring to settle
there, contrary to Law. And it appeareth unto us the
said Justices, and we do adjudge that he is likely
to become chargeable to the said Parish; and upon Exami-
nation of the Premisses taken upon Oath, and other Cir-
cumstances, it further appreareth unto us, and we do
likewise adjudge, that the Parish of Woughton
in the County of Bucks
is the Place of last legal
Settlement of the said James Major< no role >

These are therefore in his Majesty's Name to Charge and
Command the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields
forthwith to remove and convey the said James Major< no role >
from the said Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields
to the said Parish of Woughton
and deliver him to the Church-wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, who are here-
by required to provide for him according to Law. Given
under our Hands and Seals the 26th Day of
July 17 69

To the Church-wardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the respective Parishes of
Saint Giles in the Fields
in the County of Middlesex ,
and Woughton in the
County of Bucks
and to all other Officers whom it may
concern.
