Brief for the Respondents.

Case

That by Virtue of a Pass, Warrant, or And or under the hands
and Seals of John Lane< no role > And George Wrighte< no role > Esquires two of
his Majesty's Justices of the Peace , in and for the County of
Middlesex Robert Willett< no role > a Male bastard Child was removed
from the Parish of Saint Mary le bone to the said Parish of St.
Andrew Holborn above barrs as the place of his legal Settlement
of the following Information Viz

Middx to wit.


The Information of Elizabeth Farrow< no role > of the
Parish of Saint Mary le bone Widow touching the Settlement of
Robert Willett< no role > aged nine Months

This Informant being upon her Oath saith that the Mother of the
said Robert Willett< no role > who has deserted and left him made an Affida=
-vit before Joseph Girdler< no role > Esquire in the Workhouse in the Parish
of Saint Andrew Holborn above the Barrs in the County of Middx that the said
Robert was a Bastard & born out of legal Matrimony & that he
was born in Slap Alloy Grays Inn Lane in the said Parish of
Saint Andrew Holborn above the Barrs and this Informant on
her Oath declareth and Saith that She verily believes the same
to be true in every respect
