vacant Ground is adjoining to the said Two Messuages or
Tenements and Ground aforesaid To hold the said premises
unto the said Richard Moys< no role > his Executors Administrators and
Assigns from the feast day of Sr John the Baptist then next
ensuing the date thereof for sixty one Years at the rent of thirty
six pounds Per Annum, That the said Richard Moys in his
life time built another house in the Front of the said Void
or vacant Ground whick is now in the possession of your
petitioner, That by Indenture bearing date the fifteenth day
of July one thousand seven hundred and forty six made
between Martha Moys< no role > of London Widow and Edward Coysgrave< no role >
of London Ironmonger Deceased, of the one part and your
petitioner of the other part the said Martha Moys and Edward
Coysgrave in consideration of six hundred pounds did assign
unto your petitioner the said Indenture of Lease and also the
said Messuages or Tenements Wharfe Ground and premises
and thereby demised To hold to your petitioner his Executors
administrators and Assigns from Midsummer then last for the
remainder of the siad term of Sixty one Years, That your
Petitioner soon after built a Warehouse on the said premisses
behind the said Messuage and which is no ways contiguous
or adjoining to the pavement. That the two first mentioned
Houses are let by your petitioner to different Tenants and are
charged to the pavement Tax the one at fourteen pounds and
the other at eighteen pounds P Annum. That at the time your
petitioner purchased the said premisses they were rated to the Land
Tax and other public Taxes of the siad hamlet at forty pounds
a Year and that after he had built the said Warehouse
twenty pounds a year more was added to the rates on that
account and your petitioner for upwards of twenty six Years
was rated for the said premises at sixty pounds a Year only.

That by a Rate or Assessment made in pursuance of an Act of
"parliamnent intilled An Act for paving and regulating Rosemary
"Lane from the parish of Saint Botolph Aldgate to Cable Street
"also the said Cable Street the foot path in Back Lane part of
"the precinct of Well close the Street leading from Nightingale
"Lane to Ratcliffe cross Butcher row and Brook Street and the
"Several Streets Lanes and passages opening into the same
