On an Indictment at the
Prosecution of John Wolf< no role > for
an Assault

James Murphy< no role > [mark] of Great Warner Street in the parish
of Saint James Clerkenwell in the County of Middlesex
Milkman and John Connolly< no role > of Bagniage Wells in the
Parish of Saint Pancrass in the same County Milkman
Severally Make Oath and Say That on or about the
Thirtieth day of July last the abovenamed Defendant
Isaac Bradley< no role > sent for these Deponents respectively
to go to him at Joseph Girdler< no role > 's Esquire one of his
Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said County when
there Deponents accordingly both went there And the
said Isaac Bradley then requested these Deponents to become
Bail for him on a Warrant on which he then was in Custody for
Assaulting and beating the Prosecutor in this Cause John
Holt
< no role > And these Deponents further severally say that
they had but very Slight Acquaintance with She said
Defendant Isaac Bradley< no role > having only called at his
House the Coach and Horses the Corner of the New Read
Islington as they Pass'd and repassed about their
Milk Business And on the said Isaac Bradleys much
pressing these Deponents to became his Bail Alledging
he must go to Prison of they did not and that he could
get no other Persons to become his Bail And these
Deponents not thinking any harm would Attend them
as it was but for an Assault these Deponents did then
become Bail for the said Isaac Bradley< no role > before the
