At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Lord
the King holden for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall
in Saint John Street in the said County (by Adjournment)
On Thursday the Seventeenth day of January in the Eleventh
Year of our Sovereign Lord George the Third King of Great
Britain Etc. Before John Hawkins< no role > Benjamin Cowley< no role >
Thomas Niccoll< no role > William Shakespear< no role > Esquires and others
their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King Assigned to
keep the Peace in the County aforesaid and also to hear
and determine diverse Felonies Trespasses and other
Misdemeanors committed in the same County

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of
Saint Mary Le bone in the County of Middlesex Have at this Present Session
Exhibited their Petition and Appeal Settingforth That by Virtue of a Pass
Warrant or Order under the hands and Seals of Peter Lewis Perrin< no role > and George
Wrighte
< no role > Esquires two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the City and
Liberty of Westminster (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date
the Fifteenth day of January instant Mary Williams< no role > alias Lea< no role > was removed
from the Parish of Saint James Westminster . to the said Parish of Saint Mary
Lebone as the Place of her last legal Settlement Whereby the Petitioners
Apprehended themselves Aggrieved Now upon hearing of the said Appeal in
the Presence and hearing of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of
the said Parish of Saint James and they consenting by their Council to the
Allowing of the said Appeal it is Ordered that the said Appeal be and the
same is hereby allowed and the said Pass Warrant or Order of the said
two Justices be vacated and set aside And it is further Ordered that the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Mary
Lebone Do forthwith Convey and deliver back the said Poor woman (together
with a Copy of this Order) unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the said Parish of Saint James or to some or one of them who
are hereby required to receive and provide for her until they can Free
themselves from the charge thereof by due course of law.
