WHEREAS Complaint has been made unto us, two of
His MAJESTY'S Justices of the Peace in and for the
County of MIDDLESEX
(one whereof being of the
Quorum) by the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of St. LUKE
, in the said County, That
Ann

Widow of
William Jones< no role >
deceased hath
lately come into the said Parish, endeavouring to Settle there,
contrary to Law. And it appearth unto us the said Justices,
and we do adjudge That She is likely to become charge-
able to the said Parish; and upon Examination of the said
Ann Jones< no role >
taken upon Oath,
it further appeareth unto us, and we do likewise adjudge, that
the Parish of Saint Ann Soho
in the
County of Middlesex
is the Place of the last legal Settlement of the said
Ann Jones< no role >
These are therefore in His MAJESTY's Name to Charge and
Command the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of St. LUKE
, forthwith to remove and convey the said
Ann Jones< no role >
from the said Parish St. LUKE, to the said Parish of
Saint Ann Soho
and deliver her to the
Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or to some
or one of them, who are hereby required to provide for her
according to Law. GIVEN under our Hands and Seals
the Eleventh Day of December 17 70.
