The Humble Petition and appeal of the Overseers
of the Poor of the Liberty of Saffron Hill Hatton
Garden & Ely Rents in the Parish of St.
Andrew Holborn in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by Nirtue of an Order or Pass Warrant
Under the hands and Seals of William Rugge< no role > and
William Timbrell< no role > Esqrs. Two of his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace for the County of Middlesex (one whereof being of
the Quorum) bearing Date the 3d. day of August Last the said
William Rugge< no role > and William Timbrell< no role > did Adjudge the
last legal Settlement of Elizabeth Davis< no role > Singlewoman to
be in the parish of St. Andrew Holborn below the Barrs
London in the Liberty of Saffron Hill and by Nirtue of the
Same Pass Warrant or Order the said Elizabeth Davis< no role > and
Frances< no role > her Child aged about one month with her for nurture
were Removed from the Parish of St. George Hanover Square
within the Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex
to the said Liberty of Saffron Hill Hatton Garden and Ely
Rents whereby Your Petitioners Conceive themselves to be
Aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore Humbly Appeal to
this Court against the said Order and pray that
the said Court will be pleased to Order that the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of St. George Hanover Square and all
persons concerns Do attend this Court some Day in the
Present Session to hear and Abide the Judgment
and Determination of the said Court Touching the
said Appeal and that your Petitioners may be
Court Shall see fit

And your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc
