Parish of St. Margaret, in the City of Westminster , and
to the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Christ Church in the County of
Middlesex and to each and every of them.

Stubbs

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us,
two of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and
for the City and Liberty of Westminster aforesaid,
(one whereof being of the Quorum) by the Church-
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of
St. Margaret West [..] That John< no role > aged about Six
Years and James< no role > aged about Four Years the
Bastard Children of Frances Fores< no role >
Singlewoman who has deserted and left
the [..] ml
in the said Parish of St. Margaret, and who are
become Chargeable to the same; We the said Justices, upon
Examination of the Premises upon Oath, and other Circum-
stances, do adjudge the same to be true, and do also adjudge
the Place of the last legal Settlement of the said John [..]

quire you, the said Churchwardens & Overseers of [..] the said Parish of St. Margt. on Sight hereof, to remove and convey the
said

John and James

from and out of your said Parish of St. Margaret, Westminster
to the said Parish of Christ Church in the

County of Middlesex

and them deliver uno the Church-Wardens and Over-
seers of the Poor there, or to some, or one of them, together
with this our Order, or a true Copy hereby, who are hereby
required to provide for them according
to Law: Given under our Hands and Seals the 27th
Day of October 1770
