To the Worshipfull His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex at their General Sessions of the Peace at Hicks's
in Saint John Street in and for the said County Assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Overseers of the Poor
of the Liberty of Saffron Hill Hatton Garden and Ely Rents
in the Parish of Saint Andrews Holborn in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth


[..] That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the Hands
and Seals of Thomas Edwards< no role > and James Fielding< no role > Esqrs. Two of his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the City and Liberty of Westminster
in the County of Middlesex (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing
Date the 2d. day of November last Sarah Hayward< no role > Widow of Robert
Hayward
< no role > was removed from the parish of Saint James within the
Liberty of Westminster in the said County of Middlesex to the said Liberty
of Saffron Hill Hatton Garden and Ely Rents (by the name and
Description of the Parish of Saint Andrew Holborn below the Bars as
the place of the last Legal Settlement of the said Sarah Hayward< no role > whereby
Your Petitioner Conceive themselves to be Aggrieved.

Your Petitioners therefore Humbly Appeal to this Court
Against the said Order And pray that the said Court Will
be Pleased to Order that the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint James and all Persons
Concerned do Attend this Court some day in the next
ensuring Quarter Session of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex to hear and abide the Judgment and
Determination of the said Court Touching the said Appeal
And that the benefit of hearing the said Appeal at that
Session may be Saved to Your Petitioners and That your
Petitioners may be otherwise relieved in the premises
as the said Court shall see fit.

And your Petitioner shall ever Pray Etc.
