To the Worshipfull his Majestys Justices of the peace for the
County of Middlesex in their General Session of the peace
Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Saint Sepulchre London

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant the
hands and Seals of Joseph Girdler< no role > Esquires and Stephen
Clarke
< no role > Esquire two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for
the said County of Middlesex (one whereof being of the
Quorum) bearing date the twenty fifth day of October One
thousand seven hundred and Seventy Thomas Bayley< no role > Alice< no role >
his Wife and their four Children namely Elizabeth< no role > Aged nine
Years John< no role > aged [..] Years Sarah< no role > aged three Years and Ann< no role >
[..] one Year and three months were removed from the
parish of Saint James at Clerkenwell in the said County of
Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint Sepulchre London as
the Place of the last legal Settlement

Your Petitioners therefore thinking
themselves aggrieved by the said Order of the said
two Justices of the Peace Appeal to this Court
against the same and humbly pray your
Worships will be pleased to appoint some Day
in the next General Quarter Session [..]
hearing and Determining the said Appeal

And your Petitioners will ever pray Etc
