One of them was left behind in the Field
That the Witnessthereupon the last Declaration
of the deceased took some Watchmen with him
and went in Search of the Coat or of the Rogues
who the Witness Apprehended might have
been about the Spott looking for their Coat
that theyWitness found [..] the Coat and Handkerchief
now produced which have been in his Custody
ever since but knoweth not to whom they
belong that two Wiggs a Hatt and a Clast
Knife were picked up As he hath heard
by some Other Persons but whom he knowes
not

that last Sunday Fortnight in the Morning he was
Informed that a Coat was in Mr Oddy's Custody
which was found in the Corner of the Field
near the New River Head that he went and
saw the Coat which he believes to belonged
to One Mc Loudatwho had been Apprentice to
Mr Ashley of Islington that he hath not seen Mc Loud
since the Accident happened to the Deceased
but had seen him often before and within
twoorthree or four days of the time of the Accident
in Company with another person whose
Characters he thinks not of good Repute
and whose Name he hath since heard to be Simpson
that One of the Two Wiggs now produced he believes to be
Mac Louds Wigg And the Other Wigg and Hatt is like
the Wigg and Hattbut is not certainwhich his Other
