The Information of John Newman< no role > of the
Parish of Kensington Victr . & of Sarah
Walker

Who being on Oath severally say theand first Sara [..]
Walker for herself smith that on Saturday last between
Six and seven o' Clock in the Evening a Person now
Present who calls himself William Speddin< no role > in Company
with another Man stopped at her Master's House and call
for a Quartern of Anniseed says she carried the said Li-
quor to them that the said Speddin then desired her to
fetch six Pennyworth of Half pence that she carried them
accordingly and Delivered them to the said Speddin who
gave her Sixpence in Return, and two pence halfpenny for
the Anniseed, that she Delivered the said Sixpence imme-
diately to the aforesaid Mr. Newman that he told her it was
bad and Desired her to follow the person that she
after him overtook him and told him that the Sixpence
he had given her was good for nothing, that the said
Speddin immediately pulled out Several other sixpence out
of his, Pocket as she believes four of five out of which he
gave her the Sixpence now produced, that she carried it to
her said Master who told her that was had likewise and
Desired her to go again after the Man and the said Newman
for himself says that on his Servants Delivering him
a second bad Sixpence he went himself in Pursuit
of the Person who had given it to her; says that at Kings
bridge he overtook a Person now Present who calls him
William Speddin< no role > whom his said Servant Sarah Walker< no role >
told him was the Man who had Delivered to her the said
Sixpence that he immediately took him into Custody
Carried him before a Justice of the Peace
