Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint Ethelburg
in the City of London
Have at this Present Session Exhibited
their Petition and Appeal Settingforth That by Virtue of an Order or Pass
Warrant under the hands and Seals of Christopher Scott< no role >

Esquire two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the County of-
Middlesex
(one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the first day of
December instant a Certain Woman therein called Sarah< no role >
the Widow of John
Campbell< no role >
deceased was removed and Conveyed from and out of the Parish
of Saint John of Wapping
in the said County of Middlesex
to the said
Parish of Saint Ethelburg
as the place of the last legal Settlement of the
said Sarah Campbell< no role >
Whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves to be
Aggrieved Whereupon at the request of the said Petitioners It is-
Ordered that the benefit of their said Appeal be saved unto them and
that the hearing and determining thereof be and the same is hereby
Adjourned until the next General Quarter Session of the Peace to be held for this
County and that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint John of Wapping on Notice hereof to be given to them in
the mean time and all Persons concerned Do Attend the Court at Hicks
Hall aforesaid on Monday the Twelfth day of January next at Nine
of the Clock in the Forenoon (when the said Session will be holden as it is
Expected) to hear and abide the Judgment and determination of the Court
touching the said Appeal.
