At the General Session of the Peace of our Lord the King holden for-
the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in the said-
County (by Adjournment) On Thursday the Eleventh day of December in the
Seventh year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third King of
Great Britain Etc Before John Hawkins< no role > Esquire Sir John Fielding< no role > Knight
Benjamin Cowley< no role > , Saunders Welch< no role > Esquires and others their Follows Justices
of our said Lord the King Assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid
and also to hear and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other
misdemeanours committed in the same County

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint
Mary White Chapel in the said County Have at this present Session Exhibited
their Petition and Appeal Settingforth That by an Order of Removal or pass Warrant
under the hands and Seals of two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace of the said-
County Ann Pett< no role > Singlewoman was Removed from the Parish of Saint Ann at-
Lime house to the said Parish of Saint Mary as the place of her last legal
Settlement) Whereby the Petitioners apprehended themselves to be Aggrieved Now
the said Appeal coming onto be heard in the presence and hearing of the Church-
wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Ann at Lime house
and they consenting by their Councel to the Allowing of the said Appeal It is
Ordered that the said Appeal be and the same is hereby allowed And the said-
Order of Removal or pass Warrant of the said two Justices is hereby Quashed and
vacated And it is further Ordered that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the-
Poor of the said Parish of Saint Mary White chapel or some or one of them Do
forthwith Convey and Deliver buck the said Poor woman (together with a Copy of-
this Order) unto the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish
of Saint Ann Limehouse or to some or one of them who are hereby required to-
receive and provide for her until they can Free themselves from the charge-
thereof by due course of law.
