Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint Giles in the Fields
in the County of Middlesex
Have at this Present
Session Exhibited their Petition and Appeal to this Court Setingforth that by
virtue of an Order or pass Warrant under the hands and Seals of Bartholomew

Esquires
two of his Majestys Justices of the
Peace
for the said County (one whereof being of the Quorum bearing date
the Seventh day of September Instant Elizabeth Jones< no role > This name instance is in set 961.

Removed and Conveyed from the Parish of Saint Clement Danes
in the said
County to the said Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields
as the place of her last
legal Settlement Whereby the Petitioners thought themselves Aggrieved
Whereupon at the request of the said Petitioners It is Ordered that the
benefit of their and Appeal be saved unto them and that the hearing and
Determining thereof be and same is hereby Adjourned until the next
General Quarter Session of the Peace to be holden for this County and that the Church-
wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Clement Danes
on Notice hereof to be given to them in the mean time and all Persons
concerned Do Attend the Court at Hicks Hall aforesaid on Tuesday the
Sixteenth day of October next by Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon (at
which time and place the said Session will be holden (by Adjourment) as
it is expected to hear and abide the Judgment and Determination of the
Court touching the said Appeal
