At the GeneralSession of the Peace of our Lord the King
holden for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saith John
Street in the said County (by Adjourment) on Thursday the
ThirteenthDay of September1764 in the Fourth Year of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the grace of God King of Great
Britain & before Thomas Lane< no role > Thomas Niccoll< no role > , Benjamin Cowley< no role > , Gerrard Howard< no role >
Esquires and other their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King Assigned
to keep His Majestys Peace in the County aforesaid and also to hear and
determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other misdemeanours Committed
in the same County.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseer of the Poor of the Parish of Saint James within the
Liberty of Westminster Did at the last General Quarter Sessions Exhibit their Petition and Appeal
to this Court Settingforth that by virtue of a pass Warrant or Order under the hands and Seals of
Benjamin Cox< no role > and Thomas Balack< no role > Esquires two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the City
and Liberty of Westminster Dated the Twenty first day of July 1764 Farewell Multzer< no role > , Eliza< no role > .
his wife and their Child Charlotte< no role > aged about three years were removed from the Parish of
Saint Martin in the Fields within the Liberty of Westminter to the said Parish of Saint
James as the place of their last legal Settlement Whereby the Pettitions thought themselves
Aggrieved Which Appeal was duly Adjourned unto this present Session Now upon here [..]
