Weaver Saith That Saturday Evening last he was Drinking with
Vandome the Deceased at the City of Norwick in Wentworth Street
about Nine oClock when Mr. Eyre Came to Serve a Warrant there
upon One Sherridan That about half an hour before Mr. Eyre
went out of the House with Sherridan his Prisoner there Came into
The Room One Martin a Journeyman Baker (who this Informant
hath known about twelve Months) and Stampd' his Foot upon the
Step at the Door and then went out againThat when Martin
so Stampd' his Foot he had a white CoatonThat about half
an hour afterwards this Informant went out at the Door to
make Water And the said Martin Came up to him And askd' him
where he was goingThat martins Face was not then black
but very soon afterwards this Informant saw him rub both his
Hands over his Face and Blackd' it And his Coat was then
Changd' from the White which he had on before to a blue one
with brass ButtonsThat this Informant went down
the Street And said Martin stood at the Corner of George Yard
nearly opposite the City of Norwick That a few Mintes
afterwards this informant went again into the House and left
Martin still standing at the Corner of Geroge Yard And soon after
this Informant Came into the House again Mr. Eyre the
Headborough Went out with his Prisoner Sherridan And this
Informant and the deceased followed themThat this
