o Clock he was upon the Calcey ay St. Catherines
Stairs And One William Bird< no role >
Called out to
him and said there was a Child Whereupon
this Informant went to the said Bird And
help'd him to put a rope round it And he
and said Bird then lied it to the Halser
of a Ship lying at the said Stairs And left it
That [..] it was a BoyThat the Bag
was gone before he Came to Bird
That this Informant did not see any thing
tied to it before the said Rope was Tied
to it nor did he see any Wound or Bruises
about itThat he could not tell the Age
of the Child nor how long it might have been in
the Water
