To the Worshipful his Majestys Justices of
Peace for the County of Middlesex in their General
Quarter Sessions assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of St John of Wapping in the County
of Middlesex .

That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant under the Hands and Seals of Benja [..]

< no role > Esquire one of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County of [..]
Middlesex bearing date the thirteenth Day of March now last legal
Edward William Johnson< no role > was removed from the Parish of St. Martin in
the Fields within the Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex
(as a Rogue and Vagabond vizt. wandring and begging in a loose idle
and disorderly Manner contrary to the Statute in that Case made
and Provided) to the Parish of St. John of Wapping in the County of
Middlesex adjudging that to be the last legal Place of Settlement
of the said Edward William Johnson< no role > And your Petitioners conceiving
themselves aggrieved by the said Warrant and Judgment of the
said Justices do humbly Appeal thereform

Your Mrs. therefore most humbly pray that
your Worships will be pleased to appoint
Some day in this present Sessions and that
your Worships will make an Order that the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of St. Martin and all Partys concerned
in and about the premisses may then and
there hear and abide the final Determination
of your Worships therein

And your Petrs. shall ever Pray Etc.
