To the Worshipfull His Majestys Justices of the
Peace for the County of Middlesex in their
General Quarter Sessions of the Peace assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Saint Olave Southwark
in the County of Surry

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order or Pass warrant
under the Hands and Seals of Christopher Scott< no role > and
Robert Pell< no role > Esquires two of his Majesty's Justices of
the Peace and for the said County of Middlesex (one
whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the ninth
day of March 1764 Mary Pound< no role > an illegitimate
child aged about eight months was removed from and
out of the Parish of Saint Botolph Aldgate in the
said County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint
Olave as the Place of the last legal settlement of the
said Mary Pound< no role > whereby your Petitioners
conceive themselves Aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore humbly
pray Your Worships to appoint a Day
in this Present Session to hear and
determine their said Appeal

And Your Petitioners will ever pray
Etc.
