Middlesex .


At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our
Sovereign Lord the King holden for the County of
Middlesex at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in the said
County on Monday the Tenth Day of January 1763
in the Third Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord
George the Third King of Great Britain Etc.

Whereas the Church Wardens, and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Upminster in the County of Essex have Exhibited their Petition and Appeal at
this present Session Setting forth that by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant
under the Hand and Seal of Lister Selman< no role > Esqr. One of this Majesty's Justices
of the Peace for the County of Middlesex bearing Date the Twenty third day
of December last Elizabeth Corrial< no role > This name instance is in set 454. This set is in the group(s): MothersPS . Widow of John Corrial< no role > deceased and her
Children viz. Elizabeth< no role > aged Eight Years and Mary< no role > aged three Years were
removed and conveyed from and out of the Parish of Saint Mary Stratford
Bow in the same County as Rogues and Vagabonds (viz) wandring and
begging there to the said Parish of Upminster as the Place of their last
Legal Settlement whereby the Petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved and
pray Relief against the sameWhereupon at the Request of the [..]
Petitioners It is Ordered by this Court that the Benefit of their said
Appeal be saved unto them and that the Hearing and Determining of the same
be and the same is hereby Adjourned unto the next GeneralQuarterSession of
the Peace to be holden for the said County of Middlesex And that the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Mary
Stratford Bow and the Constable Headborough Tythingman and other Officer
of the Peace of the same Parish on Notice thereof and all other Persons convened
do Attend the Court at Hicks Hall aforesaid on Tuesdaythe Twenty
second Day of [..] February now next ensuing by Nine of the Clock in the Morning
(at which time and place the said next General Quarter Session is to be holden)
to hear and abide the Judgment and Determination of the same Court touching
the said Appeal.
