To the Worshipfull his Majesty's Justices of the peace
for the County of Middlesex in General Quarter Session of the peace at
Hicks Hall Assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St: Anne within the
Liberty of Westminster in the County aforesaid.

Sheweth

That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the hands and Seals
of Roger Jackson< no role > and Samuel Peirson< no role > Esqr. two of his Majestys Justices of the
Peace for the City and Liberty of Westminster (one whereof being of the
Quorum) bearing Date the 10th. day of December last Mary Claxton< no role > Wife of
John Claxton< no role > who is now at Scotland and their Child George< no role > aged 3 Years
were removed from the Parish of St. Margaret in the City of Westminster
to the said Parish of St. Anne as the Place of their last Legal Settlement Whereby
Your Petitioners conceive themselves to be Aggrieved

Your Petitioners therefore Appeal to this Court against
the Adjudication of the said two Justices and humbly Pray.
that Your Worships will be pleased to Appoint some Day in
this Present Session for the hearing and determing of the
said Appeal And to Order that all persons Concerned
may than Attend

And Your Petitrs. shall Pray Etc
