The Information of Peter Dawson< no role > of Monmoth street in
the Parish of St. Giles in the fields in the said County
taken before me one of his Majesty Justices of the Peace for the sd County

Who being on Oath saith That on Thursday the 17th of this Inst.
a Person unknown to the Inst brought to his Shop a Coat
now produced & offered it to Sale to the Inst and this Ins
agreed for Ten Shillings & [..] gave him ½ a Ga. to
[..] charge And then Ins Saith that a Person now Present
Who calls himself Jno Plachet< no role > stood in the Middle
of the Highway before the Inst. shop and he saw the
sd. Person unknown go to the sd. Plachet and gave
him the ½Ga. And Plachet gave him Six pence which
the sd Person unknown brought to this Inst. And the
Ins. further saith That at that time he apprehended the-
Coal to be the Property of the sd Plachet & not the Persons
who offered is to sale
