The Information of John Baker< no role > & JohnBaylerBaynes< no role >
twelve before me one of his Majesty Justices
of the Peace for the sd County

Who being sevly. on Oath say & first this Jno Baker< no role >
for himself saith That he is a Watchman in the parish
of St. Geo the Martyr and as was going his Rounds abd.
[..] One O Clock this Morng he discovered a Man
now Present who calls himself Willm Stokes< no role > lying
on the Ground in Boswell Court where some House
are under Repair & upon His Inst Speaking to him &
receiving no Acct. he concluded he was Drunk
went away and upon the Return of the Ins attwoThree
O Clock he found the sd. Wm [..] upon the
Hrontest peice of a Door of one of the sd Houses
pretending to he asleep where upon this Ins Stract him
with his Staff & thereon he came down & [..] this Ins
advised him to go the Pump to drink as there
Was no All house Open & according by he went away
and in about Ten Minutes after then Ins met the sd
Wn. With & the Peice of Lead on his head now Produced
whereupon he secured him And this Inst. after saw
the sd Lead fitted to the sd. Hron test Peice where
he was and found it fit this same & was [..] bell. stole
from thence And this Ins John Bayley< no role > for himself saith
that he is repairing the sd. House & is Lease holder-
thereof And further saith that from the
Comparing the sard Lend to the Hron test Peice
