The Information of James Provo< no role > taken before me
one of his Majesty Justices of the peace for
the said County

Who being on Oath saith That about Two O' Clock
on Tuesday Morning this Inf being uneasy in his feat
went & sat down by the railing of Lincolns Inn
Feilds opposite the Garden wall of Lincolns Inn to
take out his Buckles one of which he took out
and put it in his pocket and being heavy to sleep
[..] Slumbord & soon after he was waked by a Women
now present who calls herself Elizth. Smith< no role > whose handwhichwas [..] on his Shoe in which was the
other Buckle and this Inf caught hold on her hand in
which he verily bels. was his breilles & thereon she
clap her hand behind her & delivered some thing
to a Man which this Inf verily bels. to be his buckle
and a Man ran away & this Inf thereupon call'd
the Watch and searched the said Woman who he
verily bels. stole his Buckle as afsd.
