Middlesex


At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of
our Sovereign Lord the King holden for the County
of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in
the said County (by Adjournment) On Thursday the
22d Day of October 1761. in the First Year of the
Reign of Our Sovereign Lord George the Third by
the Grace of God King of Great Britain Etc.

An Account of Inquisitions having been produced before this Court
by John Feary< no role > Gent. Coroner of the City and Liberty of Westminster
in the County of Middlesex therein Mentioning the same to be
taken On the View of Dead Bodys within the said City and
Liberty from the 31st. Day of March 1761. to the 19th. Day of October
1761. and chargeable by Act of Parliament on the said County which
Inquisition's contain the Names of the Dead Bodies Viewed being
Twenty Four in Number And it Appearing Unto this Court by writing
under the Hands of Francis Bedwell< no role > and Bartholomew Hammond< no role >
Esqrs two of His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said County
that they have Examined the said Account And that there is due
for the same to the said Corner the Sum of Twenty Five Pounds
one Shilling and Nine pence It is Ordered by this Court that
Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County Do pay the said Sum of
Twenty Five Pounds One Shilling and Nine pence Unto the said
Coroner in full of his said Demand whose Receipt together with
this Order shall be sufficient discharge to the said Treasurer
for such Payment.
