At the General Session of the Peace of Our Sovereign
Lord the King holden for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in
St. John Street in the said County by Adjournment On SaturdayFridaythe
[..] nineteenth Day of September 1761. in the First Year of the Reign of Our
Sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace of God King of Great
Britain Etc Before Thomas Lane< no role > Jonathan Chadwick Durden< no role >
Lister Selman< no role > Paul Mombray< no role > Esquires and others their Fellows
Justices of Our said Lord the King Assigned to keep the Peace of
Our said Lord the King in the County aforesaid and also to hear
and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other Misdemrs.
committed in the same County.

Whereas Thomas Hanson< no role > Did exhibit his Petition to the Court
at this Present Session holden at Hicks Hall aforesaid On Monday
the Fourteenth Day of September last past Setting Forth that
he the said Thomas Hanson< no role > by Indenture of Apprenticeship
bearing Date the Thirtieth Day of January One Thousand Seven
Hundred and Fifty Eight was bound an Apprentice to John
Robinson
< no role > (then) of Chancery Lane London Scrivenor for
the Term of Seven Years In which said Indenture the said
John Robinson< no role > did in Consideration of eight Pounds and
Eight Shillings to him in hand paid Covenant to Teach and
Instruct the said Petitioner in the Art and Mistery of a Serivenor
And to find and provide for the said Petitioner Sufficient Meat
Drink Washing Lodging and all other Necessarys (Cloaths &
Medicines excepted) during the said Term, That the said Petitioner
lived with the said John Robinson< no role > from the Date of the said
Indenture until about the beginning of August One thousand
Seven hundred and Sixty One but the said John Robinson< no role > did
not during that time follow the Business of a Scrivenor but was
Only a Writer and took in Work to Copy. That on or About the
First Day of August last the said Petitioners said Master left
his House and Absconded on Account of his Debts and his Wife
