At the General Session of the Peace of our Sovereign
Lord the King holden for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in
St. John Street in the said County (by Adjournment) On Tuesday the
Fifteenth Day of September 1761. in the First Year of the Reign
of our Sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace of God King of
Great Britain Etc. Before Thomas Lane< no role > Francis Bedwell< no role > Paul
Vaillant
< no role > Theodore Sydenham< no role > Esquires and others their Fellows
Justices of our said Lord the King Assigned to keep the Peace of
Our said Lord the King in the County aforesaid and also to hear and
determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other Misdemeanors
Committed in the same County.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
St. Clement Danes in the said County of Middlesex Did at the last
General Quarter Session of the Peace holden for the said County Exhibit
their Petition and Appeal to the Court Setting forth That by Virtue of
an Order of Removal or pass Warrant under the Hands and Seals of
two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace of the said County of Middx
bearing Date the Eleventh Day of June last William Brain< no role > Aged
About Thirty Nine Years was removed from the Hamlet of Hamersmith
in the Parish of Fulham in the said County to the said Parish of St.
Clement Danes as the Place of his last legal Settlement Where by
the Petitioners conceived themselves Aggrieved Which said Petition
was by the Court duly Adjourned and Appointed to be heard on this
Day Whereupon at the Request of the Petitioners It is Ordered
that the Benefit of their Appeal aforesaid be saved and that the
hearing and final Determination thereof be and the same is hereby
further Adjourned unto Tuesday the Twentieth Day of October now
Next Ensueing (being the Second Day of the Next Session Appointed
to be holden for the same County of Middx at Nine of the Clock
in the Forenoon of the same Day at Hicks Hall aforesaid when
and where all party's concerned are to Attend to hear and Abide
the Determination of the Court touching the Premises.
