In Pursuance of his MAJESTY', COMMANDS,
This is to give Notice, That as there are many Scaffolds
built, and are now building, and much Timber lying in West-
minster
, It is his Majesty's Pleasure, that to prevent any In-
cidents that may happen from Fires, there should it no Ben-
fires made, or any Fireworks played off, in any Part of West-
minster
, from Whiteball
to Millbank
, and from thence to
Buckingham Gate
, round the South-West, Part of the Artil [..]
lery Ground, or in any other Place, nearer to the Abbey
than
Whitehall
, till Seven Days after the Coronation; and that
there be no Illuminations within the above Space, except by
Lamps with Oil, and those in Lanthorns affixed to the Wall,
and not to any Wood-work whatsoever.
And the High Bailiff of Westminster
, and the Justices of
the Peace
within the said City and Liberty, are hereby re-
quired and commanded to enforce and put in Execution These
His Majesty's Royal Commands.
