drawing the said Waggon into the Ditch on the left hand side the Road,
upon which the Waggon was hungry with the said Roberts, says
the said William Roberts< no role > Presently repeated his Whipping the
said Horses drawing the said Waggon out of the Road, upon which
the said Waggoner gave the said Roberts some abusing Language
whereupon on the said William Robert< no role > instantly Rode up his Horse
to the side of the said Waggon and Struck at this Informant and the rest
of the Passengers in the Waggon with his Whipp, but wkeet particulor
passenger received the Clor, this Informant is not positive,
and this Informant farther says that after the said Wm. Roberts tradmade
the Assault upon the Passengers in the said Waggon as aforesaid the
Waggoner and the above Robinson the Chairman Sumpt out of the
Waggon, and that a Sti [..] then acore between the said Roberts, the
Waggener and the said Robinson, and that this Informant saw the
said Wm. Roberts< no role > make several Strokes at the said Robinson
with a Hangoer, the said Robinson A the same time defending himself
with a [..] Stick which he had not his Hand, says that soon after,
this Informant heard the said Robinson cry out that his Arm was
Cutt, that this Informant then himself got out of the said Waggon
then While saw blood cunning into the said Robbinson's hand and A
the same thime saw the said William Roberts< no role > Riding away
