The Information of David Tooth< no role > of Marlborough
Row Carnaby Market Chairman Taken before
John Fielding< no role > Esqr . this 8th: day of May 1760

This Informant being on Oath says that last Night about eight
o' Clock as he this Informant in Company with one Robinson a Chairman and
one William Davis< no role > and one John Lomas< no role > two other [..] Chairmen, were
coming from Windsor in a Waggon, they were over taken by a Titled Cart drawn
by two Horses upon Hounslow Heath , say the [..] said Titled Cart was [..]
accompanied by one William Robert< no role > Horseback, whom this Informant,
is well acquainted with, and whom is a Servant to the Right Honble
William Pitt< no role > . says that upon the said Cart's coming up to the Waggon in which
this Informant then was, the said Wm. Roberts rode up to the fore
Horse of the said Waggon and Whipped him and the other Horses
drawing the said Waggon into the Ditch on the left hand side the Road,
upon which the Waggon was Angry with the said Roberts, says
the said William Roberts< no role > presently repected his Whipping the
said Horse drawing the said Wagon out of the Road, upon which
the said Waggon or gave the said Roberts some abusin [..] Language
whereof on the said William Roberts< no role > instantly Roade up his Horse
to the side of the said Waggon and struck at this Informant and the rest
of the Passengers in the Waggon with his Whipp, but wkeet particulor
passenger received the blow, this Informant is not Positive,
