To the Worshipful his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex in their GeneralQuar [..]
Session of the Peace at Hicks Hall in Saint John
Street in and for the said County Assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of Saint Martin in the Fields
in the said County.

Sheweth


That by a Pass Warrant or Order under the
Hand and Seal of Francis Jackman< no role > Esquire One of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for the City and Liberty of Westminster
in the said County Bearing Date the Eighteenth day of
April last Past Nathaniel Lowry< no role > was removed as a
Vagrant from the Parish of Saint James on the County
of Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint Martin is
the Fields in the same County as the Place of his last
legal Settlement, Whereby Your Petitioners conceived
themselves agrieved and against the said Order do
Appeal

Your Petitioners therefore
humbly Pray Your Worships to
appoint a short Day this present
Session to hear and Determine the
Matter touching the said Appeal.

And Your Petitioners shall
ever Pray Etc.
