At the General Session of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord the King holden for the County
of Middx at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in the County aforesaid by adjournment on Thursday
the eleventh day of May in the thirty first year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the second
King of Great Britain Etc before Thomas Lane< no role > George Errington< no role > Bartholomew Hammond< no role > John
Cross
< no role > Esqr . and others their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King assigned to keep the
Peace in the County aforesaid and also to hear and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other
Misdeeds committed is the same County.

Upon hearing of the Appeal of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Kensington in the County of Middx against an Order or Pass Warrant under the Hand and Seal of
William Timbrell< no role > Esqr . one of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said County of Middx
bearing date the twenty ninth day of March last whereby Robert Emmes< no role > was removed from the Parish
of St. George Hanover Square in the said County to the said Parish of Kensington as the Place of
his last legal Settlement (the hearing and determining of which Appeal being exhibited at the last
General Quarter Session of the Peace holden for the said County by adjournment on Thursday the
sixth day of April now last past was by an Order then made by the Court of the same Session
of the Peace adjourned untill this present General Session of the Peace holden for the said County
and the said Appeal was appointed to be heard on this present Thursday the eleventh day of May
instant) And upon hearing of what was alledged by Mr. Serjeant Hayward< no role > of Council for the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St. George Hanover Square
and also by Mr. Lane of Councit for the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Kensington This Court doth disallow of the said Appeal and doth ratify and
confirm the aforesaid Order or Pass Warrant of the said Justices of the Peace and same is
hereby ratified and confirmed accordingly.
