Parish of Hamlet of Hamersmith
in the County of Middsx
and to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of Lambeth

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made by you the
Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
saidParish of Hamlet
unto us whose Hands and Seals are
hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace (where-
of one is of the Quorum) for the County of Middsx afore-
said that Ann Cadell< no role > Aged at 15 or 10 yrs
lately intruded herself into your saidParish of Hamlet
there to inhabit as Parishioner contrary to the Laws relating to
the Settlement of the Poor, and is there like to become charge-
able, if not timely prevented: And whereas, upon due Exami-
nation and Enquiry made into the Premisses, upon ye Oath
of ye sd Ann Cadell< no role > & as Appears by indentures
datted ye 12 Sept 1751 of Apprentyship
it appears unto Us, and we accordingly adjudge, that the said
Ann Cadell< no role > is
like to become chargeable unto the saidParish of Hamlet
and that the last legal Place of
Settlement of the said Ann Cadell< no role >
is in the said Parish of
Lambeth

These are therefore in his Majesty's Name, to order and require
you the said Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of sd Hamlet aforesaid that you
or some of you, do forth with remove and convey the said
Ann Cadell< no role > from your saidParish of Hamlet
to the said Parish of Lambeth
and her deliver
to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some
or one of them, together with this our Warrant or Order, or a
true Copy hereof; whereby they are likewise required, in his
Majesty's Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case
made, forthwith to receive the said Ann Cadell< no role >
into their said Parish and provide for her
as their own Parishioner. Given under our Hands and Seals the
13th Day of Aprill in the Year of our
Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty four
