To the Worshipfull his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex in their General Quarter Sessions Assembled

The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Church Wardens and
Overseers of the Parish of Lambeth in the County of Surry

Sheweth


That by an Order or Pass Warrant dated the Thirteenth Day of thes instant
April under the Hands and Seals of John Bever< no role > and King Gould< no role > This name instance is in set 235. Esquire two
of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex Ann Cadell< no role >
aged about 15 or 16 years was removed from the Hamlet of Hammersmith in
the said County of Middlesex to the said parish of Lambeth as the place of her
last Legal Settlement

That your Petrs. apprehending themselves aggrieved by said removal
humbly appeal to this Court against the same And pray that a Day may be
appointed this Sessions for the Hearing and Determining thereof

And your Petrs. shall Pray Etc.

At the General Quarter Sessions of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord the King
holden for the County of Middlesex at Hicks's Hall in St. John Street in the County
aforesaid by Adjournment on Wednesday the Twenty fourth Day April in the
Twenty Seventh year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second King
of Great Britain Etc.

It is Ordered by this Court that the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Hamlet of Hammersmith have Notice of thes Appeal And that they and
all persons concerned do attend this Court on Fryday next at Ten of the
Clock in the forenoon to hear and abide the Judgment and Determination of
the same Court touching the said appeal.
