To the Worshipfull his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex at their General Quarter Session Assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal of the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Banstead in the County of Surry

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order under the
hands and Seals of Pierce Galliard< no role > and Merry Teshmaker< no role >
Esqrs. Two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex bearing Date the Twenty ninth day of March last
It is Alledged that Joseph Kirk< no role > Ann< no role > his Wife and Ann< no role > their Daughter lately
intruded themselves into the Parish of Enfield in the said
County of Middlesex there to Inhabit as Parishioners contrary
to Law and are there like to become Chargeable and by the said
Pass Warrant or Order were removed and Conveyed from the
said Parish of Enfield to the said Parish of Banstead as
the place of their last legal Settlement.

That your Petitioners think themselves Aggrieved by
the aforesaid Warrant or Order of the said Pierce Galliard< no role > and
Merry Tishmaker< no role > Esqrs . and humbly Appeal against the same

Your Petitioners therefore humbly Pray
that the benefit of the said Appeal may be saved
unto them and that a day may be appointed
in this present Session of the Peace to hear and
determine the same And to Grant your
Petitioners such other Relief in the Premises as
to your Worships shall seem meet

And your Petitioners shall ever Pray Etc
