belonging to the Parish of St. Giles in the Fields
in the County of Middx maketh Oath that on or
about the fourteenth day of March last one Ann
Fox
< no role > was sent into the said Workhouse , where (as
this Deponent hath been informed and Verily believes
She was soon afterwards Deliver of a Female
Child baptized by the Name of Jane which< no role > dyed ab [..]
ten days after her Birth, that the said Ann Fox< no role > [..]
was detained in the said Workhouse untill the
Ninth day of April Instant when she was Convey [..]
before John Milner< no role > Esqr . one of It is Majesty's
Justices of the peace for this County who Examined
her and Committed her to the House of Correction
at Clerkenwell , that the Common Charge made
for the months lying in of any Woman in the
said Workhouse is Forty Shillings and that
according to the Comon Calculation of the
Charge of Maintaining the Poor in the said
Workhouse each Person Stands the said
parish in One and twenty pence per Week
