Petition taken before mather
21 st Augt. 1749
Who being upon Oath Says that there were feloniously
taken an Carryed away out of her shop [..] three Gallons
of [..] in and one Galloon of Carraway the Property of Wm. Crow< no role >
,
And this Informt. says that two Persons now present who call
themselves Mathew Burk and Mary< no role >
the Wife
of Francis
Maguire< no role >
came into her Shop and called for a Quarter of
Ginn, Says that they went out before they Drank it but soon
returned again and then Drank it, Says that they went out
again and presently the said Mathew Burk< no role >
came again with
five [..] other Persons and called for a Quarter of Gein,
Says that they soon went out of the shop, and the said
Mathew Burk< no role >
and Mary Magine Soon afterwards returned
and Suspecting that they came in for no Good instent the looked
round the Shop and Missed three Racks of Liquor feloniously
taken and Carryed away Upon which the had them Secured
when the sand Mary Magnine Conferred the Stealing the
said Lignors
