taken before me this 28 th day of
June 1749

Who being upon Oath says that about a Month ago John Wood< no role >
a whar Singer at Beanford Buildings Ordered this Informt.
Charles Taylor< no role > and Thos. Davies< no role > to Carry five Chaldron of
Coals to a Button Shop in King Street Covent Garden out
of a Crast which Lay at the Said Whars and which was called
Pool Measure Says that before any [..] one Sack of Coals was
Put into the Colt, Charles Taylor< no role > That St Davies, Fancis Henich
Thos. Rent and one who [..] Goal by the Nickname of the parson
did Feloniously take and Carry away five Sacks of Coals out
of the said Craft to antheon Empty house of Richd. Unwin< no role > This name instance is in set 3562. 's in Beanford
Buildings aforesaid, Says that the Said Richd. Unwin< no role > was
Present when the Coals or was brought to his house and
received them knowing them to be stolen, but what Money
he gave for them this Informt. cannot tell, And this Informt.
further says that as soon as they has carried the said five
Sacks to the Said Un wins house they immediatly sent away the
said five Chaldron of Coals to the said Butten shop and put
into each Cart 13 Sacks which were two sacks more that the
Ingrain would amount to at pool Measure.

And this Informt. further says that about the time above
mentioned Mr Wood Ordered this Informt. Charles Taylor< no role > and
Thos. Davies< no role > , to Drive [..] fifteen Chaldron of Coals to
a Boarding School in Upper Brook Street says that before any
one Sack was Put into the Cart [..] the Same persons above
mentioned, did feloniously take and cary away out of the Craft
in which the Coals were in, Sixteen Sacks of Coals, which Coals
were Part of the Said fifteen Chaldrens which were Ordered
to be delivered at the Boarding School aforesaid to an Empty
house belonging to the said Richd. Unwins< no role > in Beanford Buildings
aforesaid, and received by the said Richd. Unwin< no role > Knowing
them to be Stolen
