before me this 19th. July 1749

Who being upon Oath says, that yesterday between one and two of
the Clock in the afternoon her Pocket was feloniously
and privately pickt of one Guinea and four shillings
as she was Setting in Covent Garden at her Shop Says
upon taxing a person now present who calls herself
Elizabeth Barclay< no role > and who Sett close by this Informant
with having Committed the aforesaid [..] Robbery, She the
said Eliz: Barclay< no role > [..] Confessed that she was the person that
pick't this Informts. pockett, of one Guinea and four
Shillings and afterwards mett two Soldiers in the Markett
who took it from her
