The Information of Prisila Humes and Judith Osbourn< no role >
of the Parish of St. Botolph Aldgate in the sd. County taken
this 29 Day of June 1749 before the One of his Majesty's Justices of the peace
of the sd. County

These Informants upon there Oaths saith (that is to say) the sd.
Prisila Humes saith one David Finn< no role > who is now Committed [..]
to his Majestys Goal of new Gate on Oath on Suspicion of Feloniously
Steling out of the House of Mr. Henry Helsey< no role > in Saint Katherine Lane
Twenty Guineas in Gold his property that the sd. David Finn was on
or about the 2o. Inst. Deinting at her House were Little Tower Hill
and the next morning one Wm. Chard came to her House and told her
that his Brother in Law David Finn was taken Prisoner And She [..]
him for what he told her Mr. Henry Belsey< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. was Kobed the last night [..]
[..] by a Purss of Guineas but he Belived Mr. Belseys Wife
was the only Theif foe the Gold was wropt up in or between two Blankets
there was a bagg of Silver and a Bunch of Rings upon the top of the Gold
which was Stolen and Certainly if my Brother in Law or I had Selen the
same wee should have taken the Bagg of Silver and the Rings [..]
to gether with the Gold and further said not

The sd. Judith Osbourn< no role > saith upon her Oath that Wm. Chard< no role > told her on
or about the 28th. Inst. (that at the time when Mr. Belsey was the sd. there was
as much Silver as a Quart pet would held and that there was also [..]
a Silver Tant [..] d a silver [..] and several other things is also that was
oppen and this Informant saith she hath been to the Goal to David Finn< no role >
and he told her not with standing he was in Custody his Brother in Law Wm.
Chard was as deep in the Midd as he is in the Mire and further saith not
