To the Worshipfull his Majestyes Justices of the Peace for the
County of Middlesex in General Quarter Session of the Peace at
Hicks Hall in Saint Johns Street in and for the said County Assembled

The Humbly Petition and Appeal of the Church Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Bridget Otherwise
St. Bride in the City of London

Sheweth


That by an Order Under the Hands and Seals of William Withers< no role >
and Francis Hole< no role > Esqrs. Two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the said
County of Middlesex a (One of the Quorum) bearing date the Seventh day of
October Instant Elizabeth Hodges< no role > and her Child Rosala< no role > Aged about Three Years
were Ordered to be removed from the Parish of St. Luke in the County of
Middlesex aforesaid to the Parish of St. Bridget Otherwise St. Bride as the
Place of their last Legal Settlement Whereby Your Petitioners Conceive
themselves to be Agrieved and against the said Order Do Appeal.

Your Petitioners therefore humbly Pray
that the benefit of the said Appeal may be Saved
unto them and that the hearing and Determining
thereof may be Adjourned to the next General
Session of the Peace to be held for the said County
of Middlesex .

And Your Petitioners shall Pray Etc

At the General Session of the peace of our sovereign Lord the king
holden for the County of Middx at Hicks hall in St. John Street in the County
aforesaid on Monday the fifth day of December in the Twenty second year
of the reign of our sovereign Lord George the second King of Great
Britain Etc

It is Ordered by this Court that the Chuchwardens and Overseers of
poor of the parish of St Luke in the County of Middx have notice of this
appeal, And that they and all persons concerned do attend this Court
Thursday-next at ten of the Clock in the forenoon to hear and abide [..]
Judgement and determination of this Court touching the said appeal,
