To the Right Worshipfull his Majestys Justices of
Peace for the County of Middx in their General Sessions
the Peace assembled

The Humble Petition of Delight Butterfield< no role > the Younger

Sheweth.


That your Petitioner by Indenture of Apprenticeship bearing date
the twenty second day of September One thousand seven hundred and
forty six was bound an Apprentice to James Paddington of Turvill
Street in the Parish of St. Matthew in the County of Middx Weaver to learn
his Art and with him (after the manner of an Apprentice) to serve from the day
of the date of the said Indentureforunto the full End and Term of seven
Years In which said Indenture the said James Paddington did covenant
to teach and instruct your Petitioner in the said Art of a Weaver

That about thirteen Months after your Petitioner was bound
Apprentice to the said James Paddington the said James Paddington
run away and absconded on Account of Debt or some other Cause
unknown to your Petitioner and has not since returned by means
whereof your Petitioner cannot learn the said Art of a Weaver
from the said James Paddington and is entirely destitute of getting
his living

Your Petitioner therefore humbly prays that your
Worships would be pleased to discharge him
from his said Apprenticeship to the said
James Paddington

And your Petitioner (as in Duty bound)
shall ever pray Etc
