These are to Certify that at the General Session of the Delivery
of the Kings Gaol of Newgate holden for the City of London
at Justices hall in the Old Bailey within the Suburbs of the said
City on Wednesday the twelfth day of this Instant October
Richard Playstowe< no role > was Tryed and Acquitted upon an
Indictment in which he was Charged for feloniously forging
a Writing on Paper Purporting in it self to be a Promisory
note Signed by J Kynaston Fawkner for the Payment of
five Pounds and five Shillings to him the Said Richard
Playstowe< no role > and for Publishing the same as true knowing
it to be Forged dated thirty first day of October 1748
